The inaugural conference of the Stop Drought! Retention Start was held on November 28, 2024, at the West Gate Conference Center.

 

During the conference, experts discussed the goals of the plan update, work methods and expected results. Issues of resilience of the economy and the environment to drought were addressed, including through retention measures, investments in infrastructure and operational drought management. Participants at the conference were able to submit comments and expectations for aPPSS. We publish the responses below.
