Project Schedule

Key stages of the uDECP Project:

  1. Presentation of the updated methodology for developing the document – ​​completion of work in the fourth quarter of 2024;
  2. Conducting a survey among stakeholders – commencement in the first quarter of 2025;
  3. Organizing six months long public consultations of the uDECP Project – conducted by the Minister responsible for water management – ​​planned commencement in the first quarter of 2026;
  4. Conducting a strategic assessment of the environmental impact of the draft plan – commencement of work in the second quarter of 2026;
  5. Development of a draft update of the Drought Effects Counteracting Plan – the third quarter of 2027;
  6. Conducting information and promotional activities accompanying the implementation of the project, including organizing 4 nationwide conferences. The first substantive meeting is planned for November this year.
