A VIDEO LECTURE ON SMALL RETENTION

Global Water Partnership CEE provided an online access to a video lecture on natural, small water retention. This is an outcome of a 3-year demonstration project implemented as part of the Integrated Drought Management Programme – IDMP CEE.

The primary outcome of the demonstration project, being implemented by an international expert group, includes the guidelines and principles regarding Natural Small Water Retention Measures – combining mitigations of climate changes, flood control and maintaining biological diversity. The lecture presents  water management methods going beyond conventional engineering technology  in favour of solutions, which are environment-friendly and enhance business activity.
